Simple Turkey Stuffing

Devised by my paternal grandmother for her too-picky 13 children. Great on its own or with gravy.

Ingredients:

1 lb. Lean Ground Pork
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup fine Bread Crumbs
1/2 tsp. Ground Sage
1/4 tsp. Ground Pepper
1/2 tsp. Salt

Preparation:

  1. Break the ground pork into a sauce pan and cover with water plus 1 inch
  2. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer until pork is fully cooked
  3. Blend the other ingredients in a bowl
  4. Cool the pork, then stir it into the dry ingredients, blending well
  5. Can be used to stuff a turkey or cooked in a loaf-type glass baking dish at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes
