Simple Turkey Stuffing
Devised by my paternal grandmother for her too-picky 13 children. Great on its own or with gravy.
Ingredients:
| 1 lb. Lean Ground Pork |
| 1 small onion, finely chopped |
| 1 cup fine Bread Crumbs |
| 1/2 tsp. Ground Sage |
| 1/4 tsp. Ground Pepper |
| 1/2 tsp. Salt |
Preparation:
- Break the ground pork into a sauce pan and cover with water plus 1 inch
- Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer until pork is fully cooked
- Blend the other ingredients in a bowl
- Cool the pork, then stir it into the dry ingredients, blending well
- Can be used to stuff a turkey or cooked in a loaf-type glass baking dish at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes
